NYSC SDG Group offered Free Skill Acquisition Training programme to students in Taraba
NYSC Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) CDS group in Taraba State organized a two-month free skill acquisition programme for secondary school students of Zing LGA.
The free skill acquisition programme which took place from May to June 2017 was to impact the lives of the young secondary school students of Taraba State. Participants received trainings in different areas such as bead making, cosmetology, food processing, ICT and Fashion/Designing.
This programme is one of the numerous CDS activities of the NYSC SDG Group, Zing, Taraba State, which has brought applauds and credits to them.
Chiemeka Nnorom Felix, Secretary General of the CDS group said "the school authority welcomed us and were thrilled at what we had planned and packaged for their students"
Over 100 students were trained on the skill of their choice at Government Technical Training School, GTTS where the programme began.
The facilitators were: Paul Chinasa Nancy, Frederick Chizoba, Chiemeka Nnorom Felix amongst others.
