Sensitization program by Corp Members on the Effect of Drug Abuse

A sensitization program on the effects of drug abuse was carried out by Corps members serving in Oyo state at Sanwo high school ogbomosho north, Ori-Oke High and Grammar school and Ogbomosho gbomosho Grammar School South respectively. 

Information about these events was made known to us by the treasurer of NYSC/DFC/CDS, Chiwendu Hope Matthew.

Rehabilitation of Hand-held Water Pump by James Anwoh

During a visit to a school in Egbedore local government area of Osun state for a CDS sensitization program, Corps member James Anwoh said he noticed that the pupil lack access to good water supply but had a hand-held water pump bore-hold which wasn't functional and decided to rehabilitate it.

He embarked on the project and was successful in restoring good water supply to the school. Below are photos from this memorable event:

David Terry Aduka Executes Six CDS Projects

Six Community Development Services (CDS) projects were carried out by David Terry Aduka, a Corps member who served at Mayafi Model Academy Bagadaza, Akko L.G.A, Gombe State.


David Terry Aduka is a graduate of Political Science from the University of Jos and served in Gombe state with the State code Gm/18C/0206. 

The following projects were carried out by him:

John Ogwuche Onaja carries out three CDS projects

Onoja, John Ogwuche is a corps member with state code JG/18B/2731. He carried out various CDS projects in his place of primary assignment during his service year. He served at Science Secondary School Lautai, Gumel, Jigawa State.

NYSC Member Donates Library to Host Community

Mr Seun Albert Oyelude, a graduate of University of Ibadan and serving Corps Member at Kogi LGA of Kogi State has established a library facility for primary school pupils in the local government where he was serving.

The library which is domiciled at Ultimate Academy, Ahoko, is equipped with 700 primary school textbooks making it the largest primary library in the LGA and one of the largest in the State.
