2022 BATCH 'B' ORIENTATION: NYSC DIRECTOR-GENERAL SOLICITS STRONGER SYNERGY WITH NCDC
Brigadier General Muhammad Kaku Fadder, Director general of NYSC has called for greater synergies with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC).
He appealed when he met Dr. Ifedayo Adettifa yesterday in his Abuja office.
Fadah thanked NCDC for the much support it provided to the program, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He also thanked him for the support that led to the safe reopening of NYSC orientation camps nationwide.
NCDC Secretary-General Dr. Ifedayo Adettifa congratulated General Fadder on being appointed as the helmsman of NYSC.
He praised the selfless service of former corps members. He said their service led to the creation and free distribution of various anti-COVID materials and other free services during the outbreak of the pandemic.
He said the cooperation of NCDC and NYSC has enabled members of the corps to support the center in both state and local government regions.
Adettifa also promised that he would work more with NYSC to fulfill the mission of the two organizations for the public good.
