The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Commission, Muhammad Sani Hamzat, paid a courtesy visit to the state Coordinator of NYSC Sokoto State, Mr. Thomas G Yamma in his office. They discussed about a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organizations that led to the establishment of NYSC Road Safety Club (RSC) and its activities especially in areas Of saving lives, creating awareness to motorist, establishment of clubs in primary and secondary schools among others.

The NYSC State Coordinator, Mr. Thomas G Yamma, commended the Federal Road Safety Corps on training of NYSC corps members on first aid. He obliged to the request of Sector Commander in the establishment of more units in all the Local Government Areas to compliment the existing ones especially what he saw during his recent tour to Kebbe, Tambuwal, Kware and Rabah.

The visit ended with presentation of a portrait photograph to the State Coordinator by the Road Safety Club's Executives with the assistance of the Sector Commander and the outgoing Staff Adviser, Mallam Garba Fagge.
